Sunshine, Sprouts, and a Season of Possibility

Sunshine, Sprouts, and a Season of Possibility

The skies have finally cleared, and after what felt like weeks of soggy boots and stormy skies, I’m thrilled to say the rain has paused—at least for now—and the flowers are finally beginning to stretch their faces toward the sun!

Of course, with all that rain came a wild explosion of green, and not just the kind I planted. The beds are full of life... and Nutsedge! So it’s back to the basics—pulling weeds, reconditioning the soil, and prepping everything for the next wave of seeds in our succession planting. It’s gritty work, but it feels so good to get my hands back in the earth and start shaping things again.

Out front, the landscape plants are putting on an absolute show! After waiting patiently all spring, they’ve leapt into bloom, catching the eye of every passerby. I’ve even seen a few slow down for a better look. It’s just a little preview of the magic we’re growing—kind of like nature’s teaser trailer for what’s coming soon.

And there’s even more to look forward to… This season, I’m beyond excited to share that I’ll also be offering my artwork in various forms at the farm! Whether it’s inspired by the blooms in the fields or the quiet magic of garden life, each piece comes from the same place this farm was born—love, creativity, and a touch of dirt under the nails.

To celebrate, we’ll be doing a raffle giveaway for a fresh bouquet when we open! One lucky visitor will go home with a bundle of color straight from the fields—keep an eye out for more details on how to enter.

The countdown is officially on: the flower farm will be opening in just a couple of weeks, and I couldn’t be more excited. I can’t wait to welcome you into the garden and share all the color, fragrance, and joy this season is bringing.

One last thing: This season of renewal also carries a tender note for us. We recently said goodbye to our beloved cat, Benny, who brought so much warmth and charm to our little farm. In his honor, we’ve created a special garden tribute tucked beneath his favorite shady spot. It's filled with soft colors, graceful textures, and blooms that feel as gentle as his spirit. As things begin to bloom around the farm, we smile knowing a little piece of Benny’s joy lives on in every petal that nods in the breeze.

More updates to come soon—until then, I’ll be out in the beds, pulling nutsedge, painting petals, and dreaming - in all the colors of the flowers!

With Love and Blooms,

FOXY
